I have to admit I am a total neat freak when it comes to my house. I’m constantly vacuuming and mopping and trying to keep things as organized as possible. However, I struggle. There just is not enough time in the day to do everything! That’s where the “Home Organization 101 Notebook” comes into play!The “Home Organization 101 Notebook” was written by Ashley at Sweet Pea Lifestyle and it truly is “a simple guide to simplifying your life!” The notebook is very hand and helps keep you organized and things running smoothly. It has areas for everything from keeping a weekly meal planner to a monthly blogging schedule to a spring cleaning list. Its broken down into four sections pretty much which are menu, cleaning, parties and holidays. The notebook really does include everything you will need to remember and to stay organized!
Not only does the notebook not leave a single thing out its also filled with some great tips that can help you keep your house even more organized! Whether you need help daily, monthly or just a little extra help keeping your head together when spring cleaning the notebook is a great thing to have handy. You can cover the pages in plastic or have them laminated to prevent them from being ruined by spills and to make it so you can cross things off the list with a dry erase marker as you get things done.
One of my favorite parts of the notebook was the Party Planning Guide! On my blog I’ve started a DIY Party Planning section and Ive noticed that using the guides from the notebook helps me to stay focused on the party theme that I’m planning and to make sure I’m giving my readers all the info they need! I also loved the monthly blogging schedule!
Overall i really enjoyed the notebook and look forward to continuing to use it in the future.

This past week my father and stepmother paid us a visit from Maine and we decided to take a trip to the Ocean and spend the day at the beach. We pulled out the laptop and began searching for a place to stay in nearby Vero Beach. When we came across the Vero Beach Hotel and Spa we knew that we had to stay there!
When we arrived at the Hotel right of the bat I was impressed with the high quality of the staff. They were all extremely friendly and professional! I guess it didn’t hurt that our room was upgraded from a deluxe room with two queen beds to a studio suite with two queen beds!
The room was beautiful! All the counter tops were granite, there was a glassed in rain shower in the bathroom and a huge sunken tub with a door that opened into the bedroom. Our room also had a sunken in living room with a flat screen TV, fridge, microwave and mini bar. Our balcony overlooked the pool and also gave us a wonderful view of the ocean! We sat outside and took in an amazing sunset while deciding what to do for dinner.
The Vero Beach Hotel and Spa offers anything between a Deluxe Room featuring one king bed to a three bedroom grand suite with ocean front views. The rooms are beautiful with cheery warm colors and luxury furnishings. They offer services such as high speed wireless, newspaper delivery, evening wine in the lobby and in room dining.
There is also two restaurants on the property the Cobalt Restaurant and Heaton’s Reef Bar and Grill. Both restaurants feature amazing ocean front views. There is a full on site fitness center and a beautiful pool with cabanas. They offer valet parking, laundry services and even an overnight shoe shine service! You also have the opportunity to book on site spa services.
The Vero Beach Hotel and Spa is also extremely kid friendly. They offer play yards and cribs to those that need them. They have on site child care services and in room child safety kits.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. As i said before the staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was beautiful!
As many of you know recently multiple of my family members have been diagnosed with one type of cancer or another and my aunt actually passed away from it a little over a month ago. At times its hard to keep in touch with those that are so far away and to let them know that your thinking of them so I was really excited when i was introduced to the Hanes Virtual Comfort App on Facebook.

First, I want to apologize for my lack of posts over the past few weeks. Work has completly taken over my life! I do have a lot in store for my readers in the next week or so including some reviews and giveaways and a lot of other things that im totally excited about! Below is a list of things you expect in the next few weeks!
This weekend I finally had some time to myself but also had a long list of things that needed to be done like clean my entire house in preperation for my dad and step mothers arrival today. I also had my neighbors son for the day and needed something to do to keep the boys busy so that i could get some of the cleaning done without spending a lot of time doing it!
I’ve had a bit of a sweet tooth lately(i really need to get control of it) and have been in a huge baking mood. I’ve made anything and everything from cookie dough cupcakes, peanut butter filled cookies and plain old brownies. The other day I made apple crisp but with bit of a twist to it!
So I’ve been using the Burt’s Bees Natural Skin Care Solutions cleanser and moisturizer for a few weeks now and i have to say I’m a bit disappointed. I love Burts Bees products and i had REALLY high hopes that i would finally find a skin care product that didn’t make my skin break out or leave my face red. We’ll sadly Burts Bees as far as i can tell isn’t that product that Ive been dreaming about! My face is actually worse then it has been in a long time and I’m really disapointed! I’m going to keep using it for at least another week and hope that it’s just stress causing the irritation and not the cleanser and moisturizer. On a brighter note though….the moisturizer leaves my face very soft!
